On 13 January 2026, Lufthansa Group and Starlink (SpaceX’s satellite internet service) unveiled a landmark collaboration that will bring high-speed broadband internet to passengers across all airlines in the group. The initiative will see Starlink technology installed on the Group’s entire fleet—across Lufthansa, SWISS, Brussels Airlines, Austrian Airlines, Edelweiss Air, and Discover Airlines—starting in the second half of 2026 and completing by 2029.
