The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reports that in 2023, there were 167,000 fixed-wing general aviation aircraft, 34,200 experimental light-craft, and 25,506,000 general flying hours. In the United States, there are approximately 167,000 general aviation aircraft and over 25 million flying hours, with aviation accounting for 5.2% of the country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP), producing $488 Billion in revenue annually.
